Her Story
Design Guided by Life,
Executed with Craft
Sharon Guyette fell into design the way most lasting things happen: not with a plan, but with a feeling she couldn’t quite ignore.
She was twenty-one, inside someone else’s home, and something clicked. Not the furniture, exactly. The way it all worked together. The quiet intention behind where things were placed, what was kept, what was edited out. She filed it away and went on to build a career in marketing. But she kept noticing rooms.
Twenty-seven years ago, she stopped noticing other people’s rooms and started creating her own clients’. She brought with her something most designers don’t have: a deep familiarity with how projects actually get built. How contractors think. Where the gap opens between a beautiful rendering and a finished room. She closed that gap. She still does.
Today, Sharon works with clients across Portland, Vancouver, Camas, and Battleground, and manages renovation and design projects nationwide for clients in Scottsdale, Denver, San Diego, and Seattle. Some clients come to her for a single room. Others bring her the whole house, or the house their parents left behind, or the house they’re hoping to age in gracefully.
All of them want the same thing: to trust someone completely. Sharon has built her entire practice on being that person.

Mission
Design that begins with who you are.
The most common mistake in interior design is starting with the room. Sharon starts with the person.
Every project honors the craftspeople who execute it and the client who lives in it. That isn’t a value statement. It’s how the work gets done.
She starts with what you have.
Before recommending a single new purchase, Sharon inventories what’s already in your home. The pieces you love. The ones you’ve moved three times because you couldn’t bear to let them go. That’s the foundation. Everything else is built around it.
Local practice. Nationwide reach.
Sharon serves Portland, Vancouver, Camas, and Battleground and manages absentee-owner projects across the country. Completed work in Scottsdale, Denver, San Diego, and Seattle. Distance has never been a reason a project didn’t get done right.
She’s building for your life, not a photoshoot.
The first conversation isn’t about colors. It’s about how you live. Who’s in the house. What you do there. What you want to stop fighting against. The design comes after.
From Our Clients

“Thank you so much for your expertise. It has made this project fun instead of stressful.”

Start with a conversation.
If you’re thinking about a project — even if you’re not sure yet what kind of project it is — Sharon would like to hear about it.
