Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 2025 · Last updated: May 2026
Sapphire Design & Renovation, LLC (“Sapphire,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a residential interior design and renovation firm based in Portland, Oregon. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit sapphire-inc.com or contact us about our services.
We take your privacy seriously. We collect only what we need, we do not sell your information, and we communicate with you only in the ways you would reasonably expect.
Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways: information you give us directly, and information collected automatically when you visit our site.
Information you provide
- Contact form submissions — your name, email address, phone number, and any message you choose to send.
- Discovery call bookings — when you schedule a consultation through Calendly, you provide your name, email address, and availability. Calendly processes this information on our behalf under their own privacy policy.
- Email and phone correspondence — records of communications related to project inquiries or active projects.
Information collected automatically
- Server and access logs — our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically records standard web server data including your IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages visited. This data is used for security and performance monitoring and is not linked to your identity.
- Google Fonts — this site loads typefaces from Google’s font service (fonts.googleapis.com). When your browser requests a font file, Google may receive your IP address. Google’s use of this data is governed by their privacy policy. No persistent tracking occurs through this mechanism.
We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party behavioral tracking tools. We do not deploy advertising cookies or retargeting pixels. We do not use cookie consent banners because we do not set persistent tracking cookies.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:
- To respond to your inquiry or schedule a consultation
- To communicate with you about an active or prospective project
- To keep records of project correspondence
- To operate and maintain this website securely
We do not use your information for marketing to third parties. We do not build profiles, sell data, or share your contact information with anyone outside of what is necessary to provide our services.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with the following categories of service providers, and only to the extent necessary:
- Vercel — our website hosting provider. Vercel processes server logs and infrastructure data to keep this site running. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy.
- Calendly — our scheduling tool. When you book a discovery call, Calendly receives your name, email, and appointment information. See Calendly’s Privacy Notice.
- Email service providers — standard email infrastructure used to receive and respond to your messages.
We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety and security of our business or others.
Data Retention
We retain contact form submissions and project correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services and maintain business records — typically no more than seven years, consistent with standard business and tax record-keeping requirements. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us directly.
