The Situation
This project began as a full-service design collaboration for a client moving from Portland to a nearby state, seeking guidance on every aspect of their new construction home. Working closely with the contractor and within budget parameters, Sapphire navigated the myriad choices for finishes — from hardwoods, carpet, and cabinetry to countertops, backsplashes, plumbing fixtures, lighting, hardware, and appliances.
The Work
Long-distance coordination was paired with two intensive in-person visits to showrooms, ensuring the client could select materials confidently while staying true to both vision and budget. Through Curation, existing furnishings and personal pieces were incorporated to ensure continuity and comfort. Transformation oversaw custom draperies, additional furniture procurement, and thoughtful layout planning. In Manifestation, furniture placement, dressing, and landscaping were coordinated — including hardscape, plant selection, and professional installation.
The Result
Upon arrival, the home felt immediately complete, welcoming, and fully realized — reflecting the client's aesthetic and daily living needs from the very first day.
